Project description:
Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide, influenced by complex
interactions between biological, environmental, and social factors that are not captured by traditional genetic approaches. This project proposes a holistic approach to study environmental factors and exposures (e.g., air pollution, noise, crowding, access to green areas) associated with cardiovascular health at UC Davis Campuses and nearby communities. Our mission is to foster collaborative research leveraging advanced computational methods to tackle cardiovascular disease and promote sustainable and accessible innovations in health.
