Expanding Environmental Education and Fostering Community through Sprout Up

Sprout Up is an on-campus organization that brings teams of college students to local Davis Elementary schools to teach environmental lessons on topics such as sustainability, renewable resources, and carbon emissions. The lessons are intended to invoke a sense of passion for environmental protection in students from a young age, encouraging them to continue making choices throughout their lives that are good for the planet. Additionally, Sprout Up hosts opportunities for college students of all backgrounds to form a sense of community, network, and participate in professional development opportunities.
