Project description:

UC Davis Formula Electric is an on-campus organization, focused on the research and development of electric powered vehicles. The club is comprised of undergraduate mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and business students, who strive to take their skills learned in the classroom and apply them to creating a more environmentally responsible type of transportation. This is done through learning how to research and design new electric systems, construct components, analyze shortcomings and revise issues encountered in order to advance the underpinning technologies required for an electric vehicle. These efforts ultimately contribute to research regarding ways to increase energy efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
