Project description:

The UC Davis branch of The Climate Reality Project participated in the “24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action” conversation about the climate crisis. The UCD chapter contributed to this global event by hosting the event via zoom for the UCD community, which successfully took place in October 2020 with over 75 people attending. With a goal of mobilizing members of the UCD community through outreach and education, the event had speakers from a variety of organizations, climate yoga, a climate guitar performance, a grief ceremony for lost species, a screening of the documentary Kiss the Ground, and an Indigenous leader. Their event lineup can be found here.
