Project description:

With a strong emphasis on responsible consumption, Green Vision works to further develop an app that incorporates Machine Learning in order to educate people on how to properly dispose of their waste. When using the app, one can scan the waste they wish to dispose of using their phone camera and be able to obtain information on how to do so. The app is able to identify the type of waste being scanned with data from the app’s growing database, and provide the user with the nearest location where the waste can be disposed. Overall, this project utilizes innovative software technology to contribute to the reduction of environmental impacts.
