Project description:

Sprout Ups

Sprout Up is a non-profit, student led organization that provides free environmental education to first and second grade school children in the greater Davis area. They strive to encourage environmentally friendly behaviors, like composting, recycling and water conservation. They elicit enthusiasm for nature and the outdoors by making lessons fun, creative and engaging.

This project expands Sprout Up’s impact by 1) creating a third grade curriculum that demonstrates real world environmental careers for students, and 2) offering one-off Sprout Up pop events in other nearby cities such as Woodland and Winters.
