Project description:
Weed Management
As part of the UC-wide herbicide-free campaign, this project partnered with Herbicide-Free UC Davis and the Arboretum and Public Garden in order to assist in creating a healthier, more sustainable environment. In an effort to transition UC Davis away from using glyphosate (a known carcinogen), this project implements an Organic Weed-Management Program where Arboretum employees, with the help of the UC Davis community, pilot 100% organic weed-management strategies on campus green spaces.
