Grant Deadlines
Hiring Deadlines
Join the TGIF Committee to allocate grants!
- Applications Open: End of Winter Quarter through mid-April
- Student Interviews: Spring Quarter
- Committee Service Begins: The following Fall Quarter
- Commitment: 1-3 years, ~50 hours/quarter
- Availability: Weekly on Wednesdays from 12-1pm mandatory
Funding Options
TGIF offers two grant options to support sustainable initiatives. All UC Davis undergrads, grads, Registered Student Orgs, faculty and staff are welcomed to apply. Off campus organizations may also participate in TGIF-funded projects in partnership with an eligible UC Davis applicant.
Main Grant
- Apply for $1,000 to $20,000
- 3 quarterly proposal deadlines (deadline)
- Complete within 2 calendar years of application date
- Funding decisions made by finals week each quarter
- Supports multi-year, large scale projects
Mini Grant
- Apply for up to $1,000
- Proposals accepted on a rolling basis (deadline)
- Complete within 1 academic year (deadline)
- Designed for quick funding turn around
- Special opportunity available for RSOs
